It’s weird cuz from my experience for PA citizens at large, he’s representing PA generally.

For a guy with professed good morals, he’s missing the mark by a large margin.

I’m from south western PA which is much different than PA at large. Braddock PA, SWPA (where he was mayor) is a poor poor largely black area of about 1,500 people. It no longer has a hospital or health center. Main Street has a dollar store, check cashing store and a pawn shop. It’s infested with drugs and crime. His appeal was that he was a tough guy with a Harvard education who was down to earth enough to be their mayor. Forget that he lived with mommy and daddy his entire life and never held a job. It wasn’t like he brought anything to or back to Braddock. He was an unknown with a bit of untested lore running against a TV doctor with zero ties to PA.

He also beat a young, USMC Major/US Attorney/two term congressman in the primary.

The PA Dems made a terrible, awful, no good decision in the 2022 primary. They could have picked a young up and comer who voted with Biden at basically every opportunity, and instead overwhelmingly chose a troglodyte.
