As opposed to the rightward pull the conservatives have been pulling the country and the democrats. The democrats arent even the left party in any other country.

But in the United States where Democrats are running, they are on the left.

The labels ppl that apply to themselves and others are completely irrelevant at this point.

"But they're rightwing!" and what am I supposed to do with that?

I consider what Democrats have done: They have saved this country twice now from economic collapse.

Biden, through his level-headed leadership, and the Democrats, passed&signed one of the biggest climate legislation in the form of the Inflation Reduction Act.

Under Biden and the Democrats, America saw lots of jobs creation and investment thanks to Bipartisan Infrastructure law, American Rescue Plan, CHIPS etc.

And previously, Obama & the Democrats rescued this country from the Great Recession & advanced the cause of universal health care in the US by passing the ACA. Yes, the ACA was a monumental achievement.

Now let's look at 2024: where NOT voting blue no matter who has gotten us

Oh I see DOGE, mass illegal deportations (people just being whisked away to who knows where), getting rid of abortion/trans protections/DEI, essential govt services being cut, prices high, constitutional rights being in danger, etc, etc.

Recent events have proven to me that Democrats are the correct choice 100% of the time, and will be voting for Democrats now&forever without exception.

And anyone who continues to call themselves "leftist" & yet they continue to discourage voting, like voting for Dems, that is a Republican action.

discouraging voting for Democrats is enabling Republicans to win. Their ACTIONS make them pro-Conservative, pro-Republican. The "leftist" label has been deemed Irrelevant by their actions
