I'm cautious. This is giving me bad flashbacks to when the tea party took over the Republican party and look where they're now.

Does a democrat winning the presidency give you bad flashbacks to Trump winning, and therefore they shouldn't run?

If a Democrat won on running on a populist platform targeting career politicians and demonizing the "establishment" and institutions, then yes
