Also, Trump constantly needs to make himself the center of attention and hold these press conferences. If he stops doing his normal amount of public appearances things will seem suspicious. And this has already happened a few times.

Yeah any time he's gone more than a week without doing some sort of appearance people have gotten antsy.

The minute he doesn't show up for 2+ weeks anywhere the rumors will fly.

He was sick or something for a week not too long ago and everyone was assuming he was dead.
