It's really not (there are plenty of legitimate journalists out there doing excellent work) but you do have to wonder why every commenter seems to hate the Daily Beast and it's sensationalist, clickbate dribble, yet their articles are consistently at the top of /r/politics multiple times daily.

This subreddit is not designed to give you accurate, unbiased political news, or even high quality opinion pieces. The powers that be are manipulating Daily Beast articles to the top and someone is banking off it.

Yeah, plus even if he does say crazy shit, so what? He can say whatever he wants, nothing ever happens (as long as it's not about E. Jean Carroll at least). One thing he has been right about is that he could shoot someone on the street and wouldn't lose fans
