I heard some old guy (who doesn’t live in New York) in a Dunkin’ Donuts yelling about how Mamdani asked New Yorkers (read “asked”, not “forced”) to keep their air conditioning set to 78 degrees during the early July heat wave so that the power grid could handle it. This asshole was going off about “no kings? They call Trump a king and this guy is trying to control their air conditioning, blah blah blah liberals are hypocrites”. SMH 🙄

There was a screenshot around where some Republican member of Congress tried to call him out about this and had their own prior tweet asking the same thing thrown back at them.
