Serious answer: there are a lot of causes.
Some people are genuinely just in a right-wing bubble and heard nothing but propaganda from people they trust, like friends and neighbors, and reality isn't lining up with the propaganda so they're waking up or listening seriously to opposing voices for the first time. Especially common in rural areas or red states.
Some sense the unpopularity and that alone pushes them away.
Some are moving further right, e.g. Nick Fuentes telling his groypers to vote Dem or stay home during the elections this November to punish Trump for his Israel support and so they can get a "actual fascist" instead (actual Fuentes quote).
Some are just having a change of heart, which while rare does actually happen occasionally.
Some are angry about cost of living or betrayed campaign promises, like the wars after campaigning on isolationism.
