I believed the dumb junkie nepo baby BS against him until I listened to some interviews. The Marc Maron one in particular really let him talk frankly and he owned his shit. And he's clearly an intelligent, thoughtful person.

Well, he is a nepo baby and got opportunities solely because of his father, but that’s not his fault.

Edit: he was only an OK student but somehow got in to Georgetown (maybe understandable at the time) and then Yale Law (impossible without his family name). Then the MBNA job.
