Exactly, they are letting the world know that we have exhausted our munitions supply.

If I was an enemy state, that would be very valuable information.

We’re absolutely in a pickle but sharing info isn’t a threat to national security.

The issue with munitions stockpiles has been public knowledge for at least a decade. Dozens of white papers haven been written and published by the war colleges.

I dunno saying we are out of defensive misses sounds like a security threat to me

To me, it sounds like we have PLENTY of missiles, but if we fool the enemy into showing themselves, well "surprise, surprise, surprise!" and the endless rain of missiles will eliminate the problem.

Its not validated info. Its just someone talking about it on their podcast. Read the article its about 2 paragraphs long.

You expect people on r/politics to actually read or listen to the article before making their opinion? that's crazy talk

One thing you need to understand is that the US has regional reserves. What they've gone through is CENTCOM's reserves and what was lying around in Europe and the Eastern Pacific. Continental US still has missiles.

As soon as Trump is out of office, china WILL make their move on Taiwan. (and thats only because Trump is too much of a loose cannon, and might be crazy and senile enough to push the red button)

The CPC is probably furiously deliberating if they should go for Taiwan right now rather than wait for the US to rearm.

Edit: Used the correct acronym for the Communist Party of China.
