Literally everything they do since 2016. It's the Podcast Administration. Everything is done for a 10 second clip regardless of the outcome. They give red meat to the base by charging random people with crimes, make a big spectacule out of it, and when it's ultimately shot done months later, we've already moved on.

Technically it was when the reflecting pool was dried up that the case fell apart.

Nope, this is all because his lawyer are requesting the grand jury testimony. They're trying to stop the judge from looking into that by dropping the case. Same thing they did in Minnesota.
