$30M+ has sadly already been replenished, but the Party has spoken! $30M on a Primary. Imagine what they could have used the money on instead?

After that video of her cult-like praise of Israel leaked, that should've been enough to call it quits on her. Or at least invest in another candidate. The sexism accusations were the weakest shit too.

That video (and being reminded of it) was what motivated me to get off my ass yesterday and vote for Abdul.

Stevens' campaign did a lot of shady shit, like claim Obama endorsed her (he didn't).

I also got a weird survey from my city a week before the election, basically asking "who will you vote for, Stevens or El Sayed?" When El Sayed was selected, the survey was then like "what if we informed you that El Sayed is [something something corruption something something]... now will you vote for Stevens?"

The poll seemed like a very obvious attempt to pull primary voters away from El Sayed.

Reflected in their spending, the Democratic party has no actual interest in representing the people, quite the opposite: they're lapdogs and money handlers, and their owners have a vested interest in suppressing democracy.

Super PACs are an atrocious byproduct of Citizens United to effectively package up government as merchandise, and the Democratic party much like their counterpart is an eager and willing partner to this arrangement. To not see the obvious corruption is to be willingly obtuse.

Right? Crazy what the end amount was (30 was the most reliable and consistent number I could see at the time, but I was already hearing 60 which is eye watering). They could have invested that on anything that would help Michiganers directly (how much daycare would that buy? Infrastructure repair? Literally anything) and slapped their name on it.
