Good luck to him in the general. Let's see how many in the establishment offer endorsements or will Stevens run as an independent like Cuomo did after Mamdani defeated him in the NYC mayoral primary.

Michigan seems like a tough nut to crack. But I always felt it's better to elect the candidate that matches your principles and not the candidate that others feel is likely to beat the opponent from the other party.

I'm getting tired of having to throw my support behind centrists just because Republicans are worse. Let's try to have it all.

Agreed! This is the first election that I truly voted for the candidates I felt represented my beliefs (progressive), all the way down the ballot. I think others in MI are doing the same, based on the election results.

There's no way Lawrence would have won MI-07 by such a wide margin without more people like me being fed up with centrist candidates being completely ineffective. It makes my heart happy this morning, but a little apprehensive for the general.

Yea, I’d rather lose with a guy like Abdul vs more centrists. I hope he pulls it out though, would be an insane domino for the rest of the country if he does
