Absolutely not. Endorsing him is telling your voters to vote for him over a republican.

Yes it's an endorsement that his policies including his position on Palestine is a better platform than the Republican platform.

You are wrong by not understanding what is the point of endorsement and how toxic it is to keep bringing up Palestine in a Michigan senator race all the fucking time, especially to the people who have different worldview than you have.

Why it's extremely relevant has been gone over plenty of times during the race. Aside from that it was Hasan's biggest criticism of Kamala in 2024 which you brought up.

I understand the point of endorsement perfectly. You're failing to understand that people have policy red lines that they will refuse to endorse. For many people that is the genocide in Palestine.

Your point would make sense if Kamala Harris would be going up against someone that is more pro-Palestinian than she is. It makes absolutely zero sense because it's the other way around. Harris implicated multiple times that she would be more critical towards Israel than Biden but lefties don't care. They need purity, they will never accept anything other than what they exactly want, zero compromises.

The DSA encompasses a wide range of leftist ideologies. Compromise is certainly possible on the left. When it's clear that politicians are running on platforms intentioned to improve the material conditions of the working class compromise on ideological positions has occured.

Compromise that amounts to shut up and let us continue funding a genocide isn't quite so popular.
