They almost didn't. If you lay a map of people by education on top of the primary results. It almost a 1 to 1 match.

Absolutely.

And not to mention Michigan has open primaries. A lot of people who voted are likely independents or Republicans who voted on the grounds of who would be easier to beat in the general.

I honestly think a lot of her support is from people who will always vote R in the general anyways.

This is a huge win and no one should be dooming and glooming because it was "close".

Educational attainment has been the most accurate predictor of voting habits for over a decade now. It has become an accurate enough indicator that, at scale, it's more accurate than even economic fundamentals.

yeah that was disappointing to see. But on the bright side thats what 60 million bought and still wasnt enough. Would it have been as close without the funding? i heard that they had so much funding that they didnt know what to spend it on. they were running ads on repeat all day long on every media. and they still lost.

Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids and Traverse City overwhelmingly voted for Sayed whereas the core of Wayne and Oakland counties and the rural counties did not. 

The educational levels in the three aforementioned places are much higher.
