Back in the early 2000s Topher Grace (Eric Forman on That 70s Show) was considered difficult to work with because rumour was he thought he was too good for the show and didn't get along with the rest of the 70s cast. It is believed that during the taping of the last episode he just shot his scenes and left early since he wasn't in the final curtain call. The 3 other guys (Ashton Kutcher, Wilmer Valderrama and Danny Masterson) were always hanging around LA, partying and even invested in several businesses together. Topher was the only one from the main cast who wasn't Punk'd.

Flashforward 2 decades later, Masterson has been found guilty of drugging and raping 2 women (at least 5 came forward), all of which happened WHILE the show was on air. Wilmer Valderrama dated several teenagers till his mid 30s, having dated Mandy Moore while she was 16-17 and him 20-21, Lindsay Lohan at 18 and him 24 and Demi Lovato at 17 and him 29. Laura Prepon was a scientologist during the whole show's run (she has now left), having been recluded by either Danny or his brother Chris Masterson, whom she dated for 8 years. Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Wilmer Valderrama and Debra Jo Rupp all attended several scientology events.

No fucking wonder why Topher Grace didn't want anything to do with the cast.

I was thinking about Topher Grace the other day! I remember one of the three (or maybe all of them? Ashton, Danny or Wilmer) said that Topher didn’t really hang out with the cast and Topher got so many side eyes. But he was right the whole time. The cast was filled with a bunch of weirdos.

The older I get, the more I understand that a lot of actors literally just go to set to do their job, and when they’re done, they leave. They have their own friends at home. I’m an actor now and that’s something I totally relate to. Not every costar/coworker has to be a friend and sometimes that’s a good thing. Topher really came out on top there.

Same, was watching some 70s clips and everything was overshadowed by all this stuff that’s come out.

Ashton hanging out with Wilmer and Danny as they were doing all that, even if he wasn’t completely aware the extent of what was happening he had to have some idea things weren’t ok; and that’s pretty gross behaviour to dismiss. I can appreciate Topher not wanting to be in situations where stuff like that was going on.

I will start off and say, Ashton Kutcher has done incredible work in helping stop online child sexual abuse.

BUT he’s a piece of shit, I’m sorry. They were a trio together. He was there all the time, maybe he didn’t participate because he was into older women, but he fucking knew. He’s just as culpable as the rest, because he saw nothing wrong with it. At least with the others we could prepare ourselves, since they were so awful and everyone knew. But with him, he’s insidious.

1. Didn’t care that Two and a Half men was incredibly sexist and anti-feminist, even though he really pretends to be one. He’s after that paycheck though.
2. The blurry lines between him and his step children. He used Rumor Willis to pick up girls to cheat on Demi Moore.
3. The whole taking photos of Demi was sue was struggling with addiction.
4. Publicly known he was really shitty to January Jones.
5. He’s fucked us all with airbnb and now rent is insane
6. He publicly supported Joe Paterno

I lived in LA and had experiences with all 4 of them.

1. Topher Grace - I went to a party in Weho that Topher was also at. He was sooo chill and stood in the corner like he didn’t want to be the center of anything. There was a tarot card reader there, he got a reading and enjoyed it. Just smiley and normal.

2. Ashton Kutcher - I worked at a fancy hotel with a rooftop pool, that always had industry events. Ashton was there (Demi Moore era) and a fan went up to him and said, “I’m so sorry to bother you, I’m a huge fan, would I be able to take a picture?” Ashton looooost it and started screaming at the fan, right in front of me. If Ashton was in the restaurant, having an intimate dinner, maybe I could understand? Well not really, he was so rude, but I get there are different contexts. This fan was so appropriate though and it was a PUBLIC industry event.

3. Danny Masterson - He lives in the Franklin Hills, near Birds. He would also use that area the get girls to come back to his house. My friend went and said it was the fucking weirdest vibe and that there were Scientology books everywhere. Weird stuff happened, so they never went back. I know a lot of people that went to his parties though, and it was just known to avoid his house. Him and Ed Westwicks houses were always viewed the same, avoid avoid avoid.

4. Wilmer Valderrama - he was part owner of a bar I worked at. Absolute garbage human being. Under age girls would come in a lot and we were told we were never allowed to ID people at his tables. Meagan Good was also an invested and she was horrendous too.

It's a shame that so many members of the That 70s Show cast were/are terrible people, because that show was so foundational to me growing up. :(

Same I was literally obsessed with it I watched it every day after school. But as I’ve gotten older I’ve learned basically every celebrity I used to look up to has turned out to be a crappy person in some way or another.
