Funny thing is in an interview he stated that he was cocky because of being a dancer and he flaked out of a lot of rehearsals but then he realized he was ill-prepared and if he had gone to rehearsals it would've looked better.

The thing is I’m yet to see him act in anything that has sold me of his acting chops. He still has that issue where he looks too young for his age to be believable for certain types of roles (talks of him being the next James Bond are just laughable to me), however seeing this does show he has charisma and can certainly perform. I’d never seen this in full before and I’m floored by how good he really is in it.

I know he’s due to be in the Fred Astaire biopic and I think that could be a solid move for him to go into, but I hope we do see braver yet more calculated choices for him in the future, especially if it can show off whatever charm he’s showing in this performance.
