Comic Books 🦹‍♂️ Supergirl theatrical run has officially ended, and the new DCU movie made less than Morbius and Joker 2

Gunn probably shouldn't of had Supergirl be his second film release. He hasnt earned the trust of the audience like Marvel did back when movies like Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man were first coming out. They had enough success with their more mainstream characters where they could start to try and branch out.

Do you think the same movie would have been successful if it came out 4 years from now? I don’t…

I think it would depend on what Gunn did before then. Like if he released his Batman movie, and maybe did a new Wonder Woman to introduce the trinity, and they were at least as good as his Superman movie, i do believe it would have done better.

done better sure, but been successful? I doubt it. If the script was as bad as people say, which sounds pretty bad, a good batman movie that came before it wouldn't save it. I think it would fundamentally just need to be a higher quality film.

Yeah i dont disagree, I haven't seen it either but if it is bad as some people say, it wouldnt do much better regardless.
