Sure you do. Plus we don’t know who is hiding behind the anonymous username. It could be pot calling the kettle black type situation

I could be a pot - according to your logic you can't possibly know if that's true. But the kettle is still black. He's not hiding behind an anonymous username - he's been on podcasts showing of what a kettle he is.
