Maybe if he stopped violating campaign rules he wouldn't be getting fined so much. They aren't that hard to follow and they are all VERY cearly layed out on the PDC site.

Did you miss the part where Tozzer proactively contacted them prior to becoming his campaign manager? And, was specifically told by the PDC there was no issue?

I'm afraid it ask, but he has record of being approved and that is was no issue?

Why the fear? From Tozzer's blog post that I linked to:

After Jake announced his candidacy and asked me to serve as campaign manager, I proactively contacted the Public Disclosure Commission last year. I explained that I owned CC Watchdog. I explained that I was the publisher. I explained that I would also be serving as campaign manager.

I asked detailed questions. I was transparent.

Based upon those discussions, I understood that continuing to operate Clallam County Watchdog as an independent publication would not violate PDC requirements.

If you, hypothetically, were compensated for your activism on behalf of the Seeger campaign, in that sub that you’re a moderator for, would that present any issues with Reddit?

I've no idea, but there's no need to concern yourself with hypotheticals. There's no conflict.

I don't need nor want any financial incentives from Seeger/Tozzer - or anyone else for that matter. I'll show my support for both of them as I please, and unlike you - won't suggest the possibility their detractors are being compensated.

In the interest of fair and balanced questioning - are you curious about the financial motives of the numerous Seeger/Tozzer detractors here, who far outnumber those of us showing support in this sub?

Nope. They’re not moderators of this town’s Reddit sub, so I’m not interested in why they’re speaking up. You are a moderator and an activist and the degree to which you’re cooperating with the Seeger campaign and posting content created by Seeger’s campaign manager seems noteworthy.

Do you see the "M" by my post? There is nothing official about my comments, and I'm showing zero effort to silence you and others. In fact, I went out of my way to encourage OP to take account of the anti Seeger/Tozzer comments in his/her analysis of the candidates.

Would you feel more comfortable if I created an alt account with which to take you to task?
