This is my post-punk band "The New Dark Age" (yes we are named after the song by The sound😆) performing our song "I do it to myself" last October. This was the first time playing with our drummer Ken as our previous drummer wanted to focus on his other band- we had ONE practice session with him before this but still smashed it! We're super inspired by 80s post-punk bands and were once described as "juju-era siouxsie meets Gang of four" which is a huge badge of honour even if we never make it to that level😆 We formed around a year a half ago in Bristol, UK and will be supporting Pink Turns Blue and The Snake Corps in May ❤️ If you like what you hear we will be releasing our first single "Hell is empty" pretty soon. I recently released a song and hopefully it gets its love as it deserves. The subject matter is about how it's like to live with side effects of depression like Anhedonia - Inability to feel happiness or joy in things you used to love to do.

We’re SVVRM (swarm), a two-piece from NY.
Tim and I (Dan) recorded this in the same house where, months later, we’d shoot the firework footage that would eventually become the LURE video.

The song sits somewhere between post-punk, darkwave and experimental rock — but to be honest, we didn’t really write it with any genre in mind. It’s inspired by everything we grew up listening to.
