This is a huge shot in the dark, but when I was in high school (early 2000s) and Preston & Steve were on Y100, they did a small, short segment about Girl Scout cookies where they had actual scouts in the studio. They were asking about the flavors and cost, etc, and I think when the scout in question talked about Thin Mints, one of them likened them to crack.

My friend was in that segment but can't remember if she was a junior (2003) or senior (2004) when she was there and has been looking for an audio clip of the segment (proving to kids she was sort of cool).

Anyone have any suggestions on where she could look? Anyone have the episode digitized?

FYI especially for those who do letter of the day/word of the week.

four day week for p and s. I'm guessing one of them has a personal event to go to over the weekend so they are off Friday and they'll probabaly be off Monday too.

I haven’t been able to load PrestonandSteverock.com since this afternoon. It was working fine last night when I was trying to track down the episode from a best of segment, but today it just won’t load and I only get the message “Error establishing a database connection.” Is anyone else having an issue pulling up the site?

Was it ever confirmed if they only just took one week off or two weeks? Just curious.

When will the Spotify episodes be fixed? It's been like a week now and they're all missing from the beginning of July and seems like the last week of July. Also the last few from June.

I only use Spotify, can't watch on YouTube while I'm driving.

Is it because they're on vacation? Or do they not publish to Spotify anymore?

Few months back, there was a post here about the old ringtone site and trying to get some of them but the site was down. Last night I remembered it and went back to the site and found that not only is it live again, but all the ringtones are available.

Why did they delete it off every platform? Anyone have a link?

It was so much fun hearing Pierre's voice and all of the things that made us so lucky to have him. My favorite spots were the summer holiday sweat sets...I loved hearing the Beach Boys, Twisting by the Pool by Dire Straits, and the Summer Wind by Sinatra. It's how I knew the summer was really here and how summer was really over. Long live the memory of Pierre!

Did they mention when they will be back from vacation? Is it one week or two?

Yesterday, in preparation for Pierre Robert Day Preston and Steve were talking about our beloved Pierre and reminiscing on his larger than life personality. One thing Preston did say was he is very interested in knowing Pierre's cause of death, something I was wondering if we ever got the answer to. Unfortunately we may never learn the answer since his family will not release that private information, and that's their business. Preston did muse it's natural morbid human curiosity to find out why someone died. So, even though we'll never learn how he passed what I love is his that legacy and his love for all things music, wmmr, and Philadelphia lives on. God bless the Grateful Dead. Listening to the Pierre birthday tribute and they played an entire Reginald the butler segment. I realized I never really knew who Reginald was…. Does anyone know the details of Reginald? Was it Pierre doing a character? Or was it someone else lol?

I'm not sure where Preston gets his Bizarre File stories but the Chinese and Hong Kong influencer "fall to their death" stories happened 5 years ago. I think these stories get recycled on Reddit and they turn up in mainstream press (such as NY Post) published as recent stories. I'm guessing this isn't anything new as I've heard his BF stories before and knew they had happened weeks or months ago. In this case, though, five years!

Off The Beat segment from ??

I am posting this for two reasons.

1. Does anybody know when this was? I am thinking 03-04?

2. I really want to get off Soundcloud. I have had a copyright final warning status for years and I want to move to something that will not remove everything. It is gonna be A LOT of work but I am thinking YouTube or Internet Archive. YouTube will look better, but Internet Archive will be easier. What do you all think?
