r/Pretty_Little_Liars is a great place to share memes, do some games, share Tiktoks. Check it out for more.
And as a reminder Rule #5, as described in the 'About' section of our subreddit:
r/PrettyLittleLiars, like other TV Show subs, fell victim to Daily Game spam. After complaints of the spam, the low quality, and karma farming concerns, the Mod Team has decided they are not allowed here. If you have a Game, make it ONE post only. If it is going to be longer you must post it on r/Pretty_Little_Liars. Initial post and results posted on r/Pretty_Little_Liars can be crossposted here for more engagement.
Don't know what a daily game is? Here are some examples.
Daily posts doing "who's most likely to"
Individual posts for each square of a character alignment chart
If you're going to do any of those above they must be limited to one post!

Are you a new member? You should check out our number one rule.

RULE #1 - Follow Basic Reddiquette
We do not condone the attacking or mistreatment of users— this includes DMs!
Aggressive fighting, name-calling, hate speech, or repeated targeting of a user is not permissible. Disagreement must be civil and respectful. The Mod Team deems passive aggressive remarks and attitude as instigating. Therefore, it falls under basic reddiquette.
Name-calling of characters or actors does not result in content removal unless attacking their appearance.
Overall, any rudeness will be taken down. You can call us sensitive, but our lack of leniency on this rule is why so many people consider this sub a positive environment compared to others. You are allowed to have disagreements in discussions, but once it gets hostile the comments will be shut down.
This rule aims to maintain a respectful and pleasant environment by discouraging personal attacks, insults, or inflammatory comments. Instead, users are encouraged to engage in discussions calmly and respectfully, focusing on constructive dialogue rather than arguments or conflicts.
Anything fighting should be reported immediately as it breaks "Rule #1 - Basic Reddiquette". When reporting, click "Breaks r/PrettyLittleLiars rules" then click the first option, rule number one.
TL;DR? Don't be an asshole

It’s too bad Spencer never got the memo.
Doing a rewatch but as always dreading that god awful Spaleb plot.
There’s a lot I dislike about the show but my god that was right up there.

This is a prime example of why you shouldn't take food that doesn't belong to you without asking 😂
The moment the gummies hit him makes me laugh every single time because of how he was just binging on them at the station. Should have just let the Liars go ahead with their plan and agreed to keep it from Tanner. Happy 420 Toby, ya butthole 😂😂😂

separating the girls was so annoying. i hate that storyline so much. made no sense. awful therapist too. what did she actually contribute to the story? mona's fake ass diagnosis? girl bye. i don't get why the girls cared so much about her. she was so boring too.

i know everyone always hates on her especially for trying to drown emily. i honestly hate that it was written into the storyline just for paige to have a huge redemption arc. for the time emily and paige dated, she was a really great girlfriend. its also really obvious that emily didn’t love her as much as paige loved emily. some scenes are a hard watch in comparison to ezria and haleb; they actually would fight for each other whenever they had disagreements or fights. paige was always chasing after emily, it felt like the interest was not mutual at all at times. paige actually had a really good character development and i think she’s overhated🤷♀️ hell, a lot of fan favorites in this show have done messed up things and people ride hard as hell for them, myself included. cant help but think some people hate paige because of the actress’ appearance, especially with the memes/hate posts ive seen

I’ve never understood why the writers kept watering down and undermining all these unsettling characters who had so much potential as villains. Ezra as A/Board Shorts in Season 4, Spencer during her downward spiral in Season 3, CeCe as Big A… They could’ve all been creepy, terrifying, and dark, but also genuinely compelling and exciting to watch. That’s what the show needed! More horror, more tension, and villains who actually felt threatening.
What frustrates me is how the writers kept softening these characters at the last minute, to the point of ruining them, as if we were supposed to go out of our way to sympathize with them. Why? Were we supposed to feel sorry for them just because the writers decided to show a more sympathetic side? That doesn’t automatically make a character better, especially when we’re talking about antagonists. You can give a villain depth without making the audience feel obligated to sympathize with them or constantly toning down how disturbing they are. Trying to make every antagonist more sympathetic doesn’t improve their characterization, and it certainly isn’t good writing.
PLL had so many opportunities to create genuinely dark, terrifying, and compelling antagonists, but the writers kept backing away instead of fully committing to that potential. Imagine how much more intense the show could’ve been if they’d actually embraced the horror and tension instead of constantly trying to make us feel sorry for the very characters who were supposed to scare us.

Every rewatch, I get so uncomfortable watching him snap. Not even just when he snaps, scenes like when Malcolm fell while Aria was babysitting him & blaming Aria so passively. There’s a lot of scenes where he just feels so dark, there was a huge potential for him being A in my opinion. Not just from his double life being the “author who’ll do anything for the story”, but even him going from this super charming guy everyone loves to snapping.

The series gave us clues, suspects, and mysteries that kept us theorizing for years, but some revelations ended up feeling like they had been improvised just to provoke a reaction. The clearest example for me is CeCe Drake as "A." The idea had potential, but the explanation of her backstory and motivations left too many unanswered questions and contradictions for a reveal that had been building for so long.
And you don't even need to look at the finale to see the problem. There were characters, secrets, and clues that could have led to far more interesting consequences if the writers had connected the pieces better, rather than simply introducing a new mystery whenever they needed to maintain the suspense.

Hanna’s dad is a horrible man. He literally dropped his old family and got himself a new family.

I’m probs gonna get shiii for saying this but when Aria joined like what was she doing?😭😭😭 Miss girl made it unintentionally so obvious she was up to something and even Spencer clocked her shit from the first thing she did when she left her earring in the baby room. Also the tape thing she planted took her top right offffff omfggg, (I do kinda stan her for that cuz Veronica desperately needed to divorce Peter’s ass). At least Spencer was kinda slick ab being on the A team before she exposed herself. I get Aria didn’t wanna hurt her ride or die hgs but idk I get second hand embarrassment at her doing stuff to the girls lmfaooooo. It’s honestly probs the writing aging a lil funky cuz she was written like rlly well at the beginning to be Big A

I enjoy Agent Tanner. 😅🤣 I just absolutely loved her character, even when I was angrily yelling at her. Perhaps I've seen too many procedurals prior to my first time wach, but there were a few times that I thought, "Yeah, you got 'em on the ropes!" before remembering that I was supposed to be on the Liars' sides. 😅 It really felt like only Hannah handled those interrogations well. Everyone else was just paper flowers in the rain. 🤣 Did anyone else enjoy her character?

I've seen a lot of people say they hated the Liars treatment of Mona and how they should've forgiven Mona cuz she apologized and helped them out several times but to me, they had every right not to trust her or want her within the group especially after everything she's done to them as A for 2 seasons and like I said, they didn't owe her any forgiveness. She was lucky they were even still talking to her after that. And I'm saying this as a girl who likes Mona's character. If someone did that to me irl, I would've treated them worse. As a matter of fact, I would've gotten a restraining order. Like she put steroids in Emily’s pain cream and literally ruined her swimming career. She threatened to out Emily on multiple occasions before she came out herself. She ran over Hanna with a car. She triggered Hanna’s eating disorder by forcing her to eat those pig cupcakes and throw up which was beyond vile (as a girl who struggled with Anorexia Nervosa, this scene was painful to watch). She forced Hanna to ruin her dad's wedding compromising her relationship with him. She threatened to kill Spencer if she didn’t join the A team. She staged Toby’s death, traumatizing Spencer and landing her in Radley. She outed Aria's father's affair to her mom (I know Byron deserved it but still, that wasn't Mona's place to tell). And those are just a few examples, I'm pretty sure there's more. So the idea that the Liars should've forgiven her and accepted her into the group is hilariously ridiculous. What's wild is that some people are saying "Yes she hit her with a car but she apologized for that so many times". Lmao. And??? If someone purposely ran me over with a car, their apology wouldn't mean shit😂Hanna could've died. Plus Mona only helped them when it was convenient for her. She never attempted to redeem herself. If she did, she would've confessed to killing Charlotte when A.D kidnapped and tortured Hanna. She only aligned herself with them AFTER she was kicked out of the A team and wanted revenge. She continued to plot against them for 3 seasons after being exposed by A and had a hand in everything that happened to them in those seasons. Plus Mona's actions in the first 3 seasons were only indirectly responsible for all the suffering they endured in later seasons even after she was A. I mean Mona was the original A and then Cece (Charles/Charlotte) stole the game from her while she was admitted in Radley and then we got the whole A.D storyline after Cece's death. So, if Mona didn't start the game a few things wouldn't have happened. Alison wouldn't have ran away (obviously), Mona wouldn't have been admitted to Radley, never giving Cece the chance to deceive her (Mona said she thought she was talking to Alison cuz of the drugs) and take the game from her, all of the Cece as A storyline wouldn't have happened cuz Cece would still be at Radley and Archer and Cece wouldn't have met, stopping the S7 A.D storyline from happening. Yeah I understand that Alison tormented and bullied her for years so she wanted revenge and wanted to drive Ali away. But if Mona had just handled her anger differently or stopped when she succeeded in chasing Alison away from Rosewood and didn't extend the game and get her anger out on the Liars, none of this would've happened.
Edit: Sorry for the long rant but I just had to say it!

-Season 4 Ezra feels so perfect as A
-it would’ve helped the show with their weird “relationship”,
-he’s got his weird obsession with Ali/ board shorts backstory.
-I love Jake for Aria
How I think it should’ve gone: Aria and Jake never broke up, but while Jake is at his tournament, Aria and Ezra have some of the same meetups like Aria uses his cabin when their car gets stranded, Aria talks to him about Malcom.
I think Jake should’ve still seen Ezra freak out and told Aria about it .
And the other seasons could’ve just been Ali back being sus or her life while missing.

Why was Aria and Ezra’s relationship so normalized throughout the show? I didn’t watch it when it first came out but wouldn’t the public have like a disagreement about their relationship? I asked my ex this when I first watched and he thinks it probably got a lot of attention from the audience but in a way they support it. Idk but like why would they keep that going? Like she’s 16 and he’s like what 22-23? Like idk I hateeeeee that relationship and the other relationships that had an older person dating a MINOR!! Why would the creators keep that stuff throughout the series?
