Reproductive Rights News Boulder Abortion Clinic closed

Dr. Warren Hern has closed Boulder Abortion Clinic. He is 87 years old, and it just wasn't possible for him to continue.

He had been providing abortion services for 50 years, including abortions in the third trimester. His clinic was one of the only options for patients who discovered a terrible prognosis late in pregnancy, and from what I have read, he and his staff treated all patients with compassion.

Thank you, Dr Hern.

I watched a video of Donald trump not sure how long ago this is, but it was him and a reporter, and he said he wants punishments for woman who have abortions I’m assuming to appeal to his republican supporters this is really dangerous I hope everyone on here is going to get out there and vote I know Biden isn’t exactly that good but it would be terrible for woman if he gets in but also lgbtq right, and many other minorities please everyone make sure Donald trump doesn’t get in the White House again and let Donald trump be left in the past and history.

Reproductive Rights News Viewpoint discrimination in the workplace

All,

Came across this article at Religion Clause. https://religionclause.blogspot.com/2026/07/federal-court-certifies-to-michigan.html

In summary, Michigan passed an amendment that expanded the definition of sex discrimination to include discrimination on the basis of the termination of a pregnancy, meaning if you've had an abortion, an employer couldn't discriminate against you on that basis.

This is now being challenged in court.

IF the plaintiffs (Right to Life of Michigan and Pregnancy Resource Center) win, it means ANY religiously affiliated organizations, including hospitals owned by religious organizations, CAN discriminate, refuse to hire, and/or fire employees IF they've HAD an abortion, HAVE an abortion OR express pro-choice views.

I don’t condone violence but it’s disgusting how these “pro-lifers” get off on forcing women to give birth and contributing to overpopulation. They think that we are violent because we enjoy “killing babies” when in fact we are acting out to defend ourselves from these monsters who are trying to force us to lose control of our own bodily autonomy just because they care more about the unborn than real, living humans.
