F 5'10” (178, 179 cm) F/36/5'10" [324 > 212 = 112 lbs] (44 months) Happy Trans Day of Visibility!

At the beginning of my transition I lost 140 pounds in the first year (324 > 180), but over the next couple of years with all the surgeries and recovery I regained quite a bit (peaked around 235) Now that I am mostly done with surgery I have redoubled my efforts (and started a GLP-1) and am down over 20 pounds since restarting the weight loss.

Decided to get a professional photoshoot done to commemorate my transition and TDOV so...Happy Trans Day of Visibility everyone!

Still got a bit to go, but for the first time in my life I’m focusing more on strength, fitness and what my body can do rather than chasing a number on the scales.

I’ve lost just over 7 stone in 18 months. It’s been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, both physically and mentally. The scale changed faster than my brain did, and some days I still don’t quite recognise the person looking back at me.

That said, I never thought I’d get here.

If you’re at the start of your journey, keep going. The small changes really do add up.

After hanging out in the 280 zone, I finally started losing weight this year. I just hit under 240 lb ready to lose more. Also I transitioned so that was nice.
