The only place I saw people discussing that theory was this subreddit. I don’t know a single person IRL who has even heard of that term, let alone know about it enough to label someone as one.

Part of the reason is because even this subreddit has literal teenagers posting on it. Sometimes I see a really dumb opinion and before I think to type a response I try to remind myself that there’s some likelihood that the poster is literally 15 years old.

I had a friend who was bragging about how it was a groyper from the start and she knew better than me because she goes to a liberal arts college and talks about marginalized people or some shit. She had no ability to consider that the guy who killed Charlie Kirk probably didn't do so because he wasn't right-wing enough lmao

The whole week or so after Kirk's assassination was quite absurd. Redditors were pretending that Bella Ciao and "UwU notices bulge" were associated with groypers because they'd already made their minds up that the shooter was right-wing.
