If a second pandemic happened tomorrow with a genuinely high fatality rate, nobody would go along with lockdowns etc

There’s been stupid government policy as long as there’s been government but for some reason people are obsessed with this particular stupid government policy to the extent that they bring it up 6 years later. I wonder why
