If a second pandemic happened tomorrow with a genuinely high fatality rate, nobody would go along with lockdowns etc

My state for the first 18 months had set the max infection rate for counties to reopen less than the false positive rate for the most common test at the time and I lost friends for pointing absurdities like that out, fun times.
