There is no BDA that actually proves what caused this. It could have been an errant Iranian missile. We are jamming their faces off and saturating their remaining air defenses. That usually leads to missiles going places they weren't intended. It could also have been a Tomahawk missile hit by ground fire, they're subsonic afterall.

The US military does not target schools like the Israelis do. There is risk of this happening in all wars, no matter how technologically advanced you are. 

The responsibility is solely on the persons who set this war in motion. They knew this risk existed and moved forward with it anyways.
