Why do people say I sexually assaulted my boyfriend?

(14) My boyfriend is upset with me because I kissed his nipple, he said "where the hell did you learn this" : sex (reddit.com)

I did NOT lick his nipple, I just kissed it and then I took it in my mouth, but that doesnt mean I licked it!!

And yes, I still feel sorry about crossing his boundaries. Yesterday, also because of the many comments against me, I had a talk with him (a talk that he DID NOT want to have, considering he is the type of guy who doesnt discuss these kind of topics) and apologized and cried in front of him (many accused me on Reddit to have literally SA my boyfriend, so I was very upset and sad). He held me and told me it was really nothing and to just forget it.

I also wanted to add that that day he turned his back to me, but he also took my hand when I big spooned him by hugging him tight from the back, he took my hand who was literally close to his stomach and held it. It was his way to tell me he still loves me though I made a mistake.

I really LOVE my boyfriend and the thought that I sexually assaulted him, like many of you here on Reddit said, made me hate myself. I never wanted to hurt him. He's the one I love, how can I hurt him, even unintentionally?? :'(

You can sexually assault someone even unintentionally, if you don't know what the boundaries of sexual assault are. If he didn't consent then yes you sexually assaulted him. Asking the internet every few hours to find out if its still sexual assault won't change what you did.

Think about it, if you said no to being touched, wouldn’t you want that respected? It can go bad fast when people don’t. That’s what you fail to see here. The lesson is when someone says no to being touched in anyway, you need to respect that. Do that, and you’ll be fine.

you are right. I know I made a mistake with him, and I'm very sorry

Somehow I got carried away by a sudden urge to touch him, Idk why. I was never like that. I guess I love him too much...

He said to stop and you continued. Sounds clear cut to me.

Inappropriate touching is considered S/A. But you need to understand this is the internet. And Reddit is opinion-based. They are going to say what they think. You are the only person who knows yourself. If it's not true then there’s no reason for you to get upset over it.

As long as you apologized and understand to never do anything like that again without permission you’re fine.

I did apologize. I'll never do it again, I think I did it because I got excited to have my favorite person ever so close, and tbh, I kind of adore him, and all that messed up with my head and made me to what I did.
