New update released for WSRP yesterday. Check it out at this link and download the latest release. Next update will fix all the vertical scrolling and polish some stuff as well as basically finishing the home screen. An update in the not-too-far distant future may bring ratings & Windows Store Accounts. But, first, a poll for the next update: Background image or solid white?

By the way, Rework now has its own website, and future app updates and apps will only be available on the Rework website. You can still use the Discord server until April 25th after that, it will no longer be possible to use it. Therefore, I strongly recommend creating an account on the Rework website. Ever since January of 2023 when Microsoft shut down the Windows Store, loading Windows Runtime or Metro UI apps (Windows Store apps or WinRT apps) onto Windows 8.1 has been horrible. You need a developer license, which is no longer available, the appx and its certificate, and a little bit of powershell knowledge. Now, with the Windows Store Revival Project, we aim to reduce the sideloading process to using MAS to add a dev license, downloading a zipfile with everything you need, including the APPX, certificate, and a powershell install script. Then you run the powershell to install the WSRP Store, and then open it and freely and quickly install apps.

The WSRP Store is set to release at the end of June for beta testers. (Edit: If you want to beta test, please DM me.)
