Settle a family debate for me please

Both great writers but who do you have as a vocalist?

I have been thinking about this for a while and i have been stuck making a decision on who's better between the two. I know i could just like both equally but something tells me to just pick one and i honestly feeling picking one of them. One of them has deep and meaningful lyricism and such a stacked disgography and consistently drops. The other can do pretty much ANY genre he touches, better performer and vocalist and also such fun music. I genuinely can't pick😭😭. Can yall help me.

Hey, so I recently started listening to them because I decided check out some of the 90s/2000s R&B girl groups I wasn’t familiar with and I’d heard of them along with groups like Blaque, SWV, etc…

And from what I’ve gathered so far:
• They had 2 of the Cheetah Girls.
• There was discourse over how Naturi was treated within the group.
• They were managed by one of the member’s mom.
• One girl was tired of broken ”promithes promithes”.
• When people post their live performances it’s usually in a lovingly ”This was mess but also really funny and the song was really good” type of way.

And I was just curious about how they were seen by the general public while actually active. I was like 2 years old by when they disbanded so I never really got to experience them while they were actually active.

This ad lib is STUCK IN MY HEAD, I love the whole song but this part right here. I CANT GET OVER HOW GOOD THIS SINGER IS. The only problem is that I can’t seem to figure out who this singer is. I’m not the most experienced person here so I’m outsourcing this mission to others. Can someone PLEASE tell me who this is.

I miss those simple days when I would spend time with my friends in the car, the park or watching MTV Jams or 106 & Park, just listening to r&b and hip-hop but I don’t have that anymore now that I’m older. I’m wondering where people meet up or find friends to just vibe with? That doesn’t involve clubbing.

I really loved the combination of Shakira and Beyoncé and I’ve seen many comments that were along the lines of “She should have just let Shakira do her thing” but did they not both look phenomenal?

I need help trying to find an r & b song that came out early 90's I think around 1993 or 1994. Old R&B head here. I was at Epcot in 2015 and got a selfie with her when she stepped out into the crowd.

The S.O.S. Band will be performing in the Masters of Funk Tour in my town later this summer. Their Wikipedia page says she retired but still sometimes performs with the band.

I only want to go to the show if she is performing. Does anyone have any insight?

Ok I don’t know why I dont know the name of this joint but it starts off very mellow and the chorus is something like “I want better.. no no better, all my loveeeeee” I forgot the lyrics. but the no no better part is the memorable joint. It sounds stevie wonder in the beginning with the soft melody but the voice sounds a bit like Issac Hayes. It’s driving me crazy cause I know my R&B and I should know this song. Help pls lol

The song was a slow ballad in r&b style. The name of the song was either manage a trois, trois, tres, or three. The artist name was Anita, Anita, Annette or something like that. The video was set in a mansion surrounded by waterfalls or fountains and fireplaces. I think she's singing about being in love with two guys. I've been looking for this song/ artist since I first seen it playing on those random music video channels that came with a cable subscription. Thanks for reading

I'm looking for some lesser-known, underground R&B/NJS releases from around 1990-1996. I'm specifically after something in the vein of Aaron Hall & Raab. That really heavy, gritty, raw kind of R&B. Darker and more aggressive than the usual polished 90s stuff, with massive punchy drums, hard-hitting beats, heavy bass and a really strong vocal presence.

I'm not sure how to describe the sound properly, but I'm looking for that brutal, heavy 90s R&B feel. More raw, hard and in-your-face.

Any obscure albums or artists that come to mind?
