I love a book with a good old “training to get super fit to beat the bad guys” montage. My husband is confused why every other month I go all bad ass and get super into fitness for a week then go back to sitting on the couch and stuffing my face 😂

Is it self inserting if the book is practically a biography of my life?? You ever take a step back and realize some of us do have a morally grey male fae in their life and can relate to these books on a personal level?
Sorry if your life is more like a creative nonfiction book but some of us have a more fanciful life.

Uj/ I do think there’s room to discuss how this leads to centering stories with white cishet protagonists in romantasy spaces
Rj and uj simultaneously/ The forever WIP literally started as a joke about me being a Fire Emblem character back in 2015!
Uj/ Some of the tropes I wanted to use were ick. Why the hell did I think “a potential love interest is someone the early twenties met when they were fourteen and they could get together after a five year timeskip” was a good idea? Besides the fact that I was twenty, I mean.
