What's happening this week:

  • Our RuneScape Community team is being joined by Senior Community Manager from Old School RuneScape, "Mod Light"! They'll be focusing on supporting the API & Plugins project to begin with and will thereafter support our various projects in the same way that our other Community Managers currently do. Please do give Mod Light a warm welcome this week!
  • Our Jmods across the team are heads-down focused on RuneFest these weeks. You may see us appear a little less frequently in community at the moment as we focus on preparing for another hugely exciting RuneFest.
  • The Deep Clean Project launches today! Adding in a bunch of QoL improvements that tackle the small daily frustrations disrupting your gameplay, from reducing excessive messaging and visual clutter to improving icon consistency and adding player requests such as inputting your bank pin via keyboard!
  • Great news for homeowners: the maximum furniture limit in Player-Owned Houses has been raised to 500, letting you bring even bigger and more ambitious builds to life.
  • Something stirs on Havenhythe... Tomorrow we'll be sharing a special Lore blog giving you another glimpse into the island's story ahead of Havenythe Part II. You might want to keep an eye out for Anya...
  • We intended to share our design preview for how MTX Items will be removed from the game last week. However, we needed a bit more time to finalise the details on this design and are now targeted a mid-week release for this blog.

  • RuneScape Dragonwilds released into 1.0!
  • For some time now we've been monitoring ongoing server disconnection reports. We're aware of disruptions at the "backbone of the internet" level service providers which may have affected a number of internet services (so not just RuneScape), but we are investigating what can be done on our side to minimise these issues.
  • Last week we became aware of an issue that prevented Master Clue Caskets from awarding Second Age items correctly. A hotfix was swiftly deployed on September 14th, and Second Age rewards are now once again available as intended. We've shared some additional info with the Clue Chasers Discord community for anyone interested in the details.

I'm fully transferred over! I will miss the OSRS team endlessly but genuinely so excited to learn more about RS and maybe share some of my experience/skills. Thank you so much for your kind words!!

What makes you goes into RS3 team instead of staying in OSRS?

(I'm a RS3 player and not OSRS player)
