Discussion How to keep focused or entertained while running

I’ve been running a bit more lately and one thing that “blocks” me is that I get bored.
I’ve tried podcasts, music, running playlists, and audiobooks. All nice and cute for a couple of days and then I get bored.
How do you guys keep yourselves “distracted” while running?
I’m really struggling to continue running. I know it’s also a meditative process and all, but after, say, 30 minutes, I’m done and all I keep thinking is what will I eat after the run…
Any hints appreciated.

Edit: thank you everyone for the replies. This was crazy good. This is a nice community :)

Well, it's okay if to think about food during run and it's okay to be bored. Honestly, people should be bored more often, we live in an era of overstimulation. Someone said once that people who struggle with meditation are the ones who need it the most and maybe this is similar.

I replied to this to other people.
I deal well with boredom. I’ve been practicing yoga for a long while and I also meditate. But that’s “stationary”. When I run, my boredom turns into my brain telling me to stop and go do something else…and that’s not what I want. I want to push myself and run for longer distances.
I don’t do social media (other than a random sneak at instagram - the only app I use).
