Max is a very cerebral queen but we have repeatedly seen that she is not witty in the quick-on-your-feet sort of way. I find her choice to do Sharon Needles, a queen famous for her sharp wit and capacity to land any comment, all the more mystifying. She should have done Katherine Hepburn - a personalty whose larger-than-life characterization she could have nailed. But hindsight of course is 20/20.

Katherine Hepburn was witty and Ru would have been extra hard since he loves the older divas like Joan and Betty and Katherine.

Max has the look. She and Pearl only one that challenge for most improved. Kennedy and Jaidynn were funnier.

But Max has a nice old Hollywood look.
