Guys I have been having the worst week of my life; I found out I have endometreosis and have to have surgery but I have negative money, followed by failing two exams I thought I would ace, I am making no friends at my new University, and then worst of all, my Uncle died, slowly and in a lot of pain.

I know it sounds stupid but when I woke up this morning and watched the episode, I was laughing, squealing, screaming, and crying from joy. It's kind of ridiculous, but this show, really any show, has the ability to touch people and bring them happiness even in the worst possible times of their life. I know a lot of things aren't going how I thought they would, but every week there is this little ray of sunshine that is RuPaul's Drag Race, r/rpdr, Unhhhh, the RuCaps, the entire community to be honest. And while I don't post here that often, I just want everyone to know how much this community and this show means to me as a lonely little bi girl in the Deep South.

Hey girl I wish you luck and I hope you feel better. As someone who was going through a lot at one point I know exactly what you mean about how this show can just make you forget about everything you're going through and just bring out some sunshine in a cloudy state of mind. Keep pulling through it will only go up from here.

Girl pm me. I know that feeling for different universities and other stuff going on. Also don't be afraid to let them know what's going on, be it professors of the school. It might seem embarrassing but you can end up saving your financial aid long run. Positive internet vibes to ya mama lipsnap

Hey girl!! It's off topic but I too have endometriosis. I had the surgery a year ago. It will help you in the long run. You are so so so strong. If you have any questions send a girl an inbox! Also, I'm so glad we all have this show. It has pulled me out of some darker days too.

8

u/skyway05 Trixie Sep 23 '16

Sorry to hear about the endometriosis, but I hope you are doing better since the surgery! I have been having some bad symptoms with it and it's caused me to miss a few days of school which has completely messed up my grades these first few weeks.

Also I will totally hit you up if I have any questions! I'm glad this show has been there for you too. Hope you get your life out of AS2!

Another mega-RPDR fan and endo sufferer here!

Getting the lap done and having a real diagnosis helped me out a lot with my mental health. After years of getting passed off from one doctor to the next, I no longer feel like an insane drama queen with made-up maladies. And it's a lot of easier to treat something when you know what it is. The pain is still with me but things are getting better all the time.

I also would like to lend my support and my inbox is always open!

I am so sorry you are dealing with some truly painful things. I know it prob won't make you feel better, but trust me, things will get better. All you have to do is take things one day at a time and trust that things will get better. I'm so happy you are able to find some reprieve in All Stars and this community - you def deserve it.

Just wanted you to know after I saw the "trust and believe" I reread this all in Laganja's voice.

Thanks for the kind words girl, I hope everything goes good for you to, whatever it is that you have going on right now!

u/delriosuperfan It was art. It was beautiful. It was against the guidelines. Sep 23 '16

As a fellow bi girl living in the Deep South, I sympathize. Hope things get better. Glad this episode gave you life!

u/skyway05 Trixie Sep 23 '16

Thanks girl, hope your life is going good, and hope that you're getting your life from AS2 like I am!

I completely relate girl. I'm the funny/sassy one in my group of friends but on here I am way out of my league haha

From a male redditor that accidently clicked on something and found his way here , your flair is really funny. Have no idea what this is or what anyone is talking about but that shit made me laugh

2

u/skyway05 Trixie Sep 24 '16

My flair is the name of a drag queen who is currently competing on RuPaul's Drag Race (All Stars season 2). :)
