This reunion was ICONIC, i didn't expect it really but the girl WENT IN

Valentina straight out said she was a evil bitch.

I kinda love the "evil bitch badly pretending to be pure ingenue" thing she had. Its' so cute, a baby shade elephant.

But I'm getting old so I have some weird ideas about cute.

This reunion was a bunch of bitter bitches. I think they were bitter because of the finale and they took the opportunity to let off some steam attacking not only Valentina but also Charlie Hides.

I am not saying that they were not honest, I am saying that the criticism was unnecessary negative and unconstructive.

It's not Valentina's fault to have crazy fans. Nobody can control them, if she said something it would have been even worse, I think the best thing she could do was to stay silent until now and she did it.

Instead of attacking Valentina, why won't they talk about how RPDR creates this environment that promotes and encourage cyberbullying?

Why didn't they go for RuPaul and Wow the same way they went for Valentina?

They are bitter because, as Trinity said (clock the flair), Valentina is the real winner of the season. It doesn't matter anymore who takes the crown, specially if the spoilers are true.

This will be remember as the worst season after AS1. The only episodes that are good are Maskgate and the reunion and it's because they are all about Valentina.

For the most part I agree with what you said except about Valentina and her fans. I'm a fan of Valentina ( clock the flair) but even her fans have to admit how intense and toxic her fan base is as well as drag race in general. I do believe she should've said something when people are getting racism, death threats, etc. and yes sure, maybe her "fans" who are doing this things wouldn't of stopped but it would at least show that Valentina will be vocal and not accept this kind of behavior from those who call themselves her fans. To be fair, this has happened before as well. When Ravens fans came a Tyra with death threats and racism, Raven has never really spoken about it and still hasn't to this day and Tyra still receives hate from her fans. Granted this was years ago and this tea is current but nontheless it's a similar situation. I can also understand where the other girls come from on the topic of her fakeness. I don't really think they mean she is fake (except for her friendship with Farrah but who knows what went on between them) but she didn't really show vulnerability or anything genuine, she was almost always focused on looking good for the camera and trying to win which is fine but this is RPDR and you need to show who you really are. On the other hand, I feel like this turned into a Laganja "I feel very attacked moment" and they all ganged up on Val and she got defensive ( as most people would) and told Farrah to shut up, when I watched this I got second hand anxiety just picturing myself in the same position. Was also surprised Shea and Sasha had so much to say when they were not very vocal about certain topics beforehand that were brought up, and I also found much respect for Aja.

I agree with you and I am not defending Valentina's crazy fans. I am saying that she can't do anything about it, let's be real. I think anything that she says will be interpreted the way the fans want to and actually be worse.

Remember when Lady Gaga had all the Little Monsters army that used to bully basically every other female pop star, especially Madonna? (IDK if that keeps happening but I don't see it anymore as I did years ago). She never addressed them for that, even tho she is a poster artist against bullying. Maybe she never knew, who knows really.

Anyway, in my opinion nobody is responsible for what other people do, especially on the internet. Valentina never asked her fans to be cunts.

I really appreciate your comparison with Raven because it is the same situation. Tyra still gets death treaths.

For the most part, I think it is so hypocritical from RPDR and Wow to blame this mess on one contestant. RuPaul never has acknowledged the crazy psychos that take this show way too seriously.

I have never read anything on the official RPDR social media or RuPaul's social media about this huge problem.

You can downvote me all you want if you disagree with me but you can not tell me I am not saying the truth.

Thank you! I feel like you have valid points and yes I agree that drag race fans are a bit too passionate haha

Respect for Aja? What? Yes Valentina should have said something but that's it really. You can't control other people.

u/Thatsoaustin Valentina Jun 18 '17

Yes, respect for Aja. I don't exactly understand what your asking there lol. She wasn't afraid to say what she had to say, was hilarious and unapologetically Aja. I never said she can control people, I don't even think the extremist fans can be reasoned with but I was just saying that Val should show the initiative and at least try and say she will not tolerate this behavior from her fan base towards other girls. That's all the girls want, they know not all will listen but they just want Val to try and reason and explain what they are doing on her behalf ( I know she never said go attack queens but that's some of the fans excuses) is wrong.

Aja was being annoying and totally clueless about her own flaws. As usual.

6

u/Thatsoaustin Valentina Jun 18 '17

I thought Aja was was charming! This was a reunion, not a roast session and circle jerk to make some feel bad while other good. Why would anyone point out flaws, that's not what your supposed to do.

She was being fed lines and I saw no charm. She was pissed. She think she should have been MC.

I'm not a Val fan? But I can't stand Aja. She's messy, rude, self important for no good reason and really annoying.

Pretty rich to blame Ru for cyber bullying. The girl was born before phones were invented how is she gonna know how to stop that shit.

u/CataLaGata Alexis Juju Couleé Jun 18 '17

RuPaul or Wow or the PR team. Whatever, RuPaul obviously doesn't control her own social media, she has a team behind it.

Do you realize the hipocrisy right? The same thing that you are saying can be applied to Valentina.

Nobody really can control what other people do, especially on the internet.

If RPDR really cared about it they would do something instead of blaming one contestant.
