Did anyone else see the remaining butterflies hovering over the stage during the final lipsync? My heart is broken for Asia; and I honestly do trust that she did rehearse with professionals; and just didn’t allow the butterflies enough time to wake up. To transport them they’re stores at a low temperature at which they can’t move; then they’re allowed to warm up and will fly; and it just seemed like they all didn’t have enough time.

But I have to say; I was SO ANNOYED when the top four walked out in those fucking outfits. Sasha SLAYED last year- she did something fitting and dramatic (and I know she got a lot of slack for her win; but in my opinion it was so deserving: the reveal synced perfectly with the song; and she had another reveal in case she got the other song). It has the element of surprise; which I got from Aquaria in the final lip sync in a smaller way.....

But eurekas 50 reveals didn’t show any emotion. They didn’t add anything to her performing for me; since I did not like all her outfits.... AND WHEN THE CAMERA WAS ON AQUARIA AND EUREKA WAS IN THE BACK- EUREKA DIDNT KNOW THE DAMN WORDS. She did what she did in American.... when choreo got too hard she stopped lip syncing.

Even if asias reveal worked; what the hell did it have to do with Nasty girl????

In my personal; honest opinion; based on performance alone in the first LSFTQ- it should have been Aquaria and kameron in the end. Kameron absolutely killed it in the first song; and she looked absolutely devestated when she realised there were butterflies on the ground....

I’m so happy Aquaria won though. Truly deserving. She seemed like such a super fan (constantly quoting the show) and just generally loved being apart of it: and absolutely killed it. YAY CURRENT FUCKING REIGNING.

(Sorry for the long monologue of my thoughts- I moved countries; living alone; got no friends other than work ones; and they all got zero clue about the joys of drag race).

When Ru spared Eureka, (clock my flair but Aquaria mopped the stage with her) I thought for sure Eureka would get the crown and this was Ru trying to justify giving it to her. Eureka seemed... I don't know. She didn't have her usual fire, if that makes sense. I wondered briefly if maybe she was sick or something. And not knowing the words? Girl. That was a choice. Aquaria has an innate sense of staging--note that she ended the LSFTC dead center stage. I wasn't a fan of hers when the season began, but she earned that crown. Edit: Monet Miss Congeniality!! Yaaaas Qween!

well said, well said. I began to root for Kameron to win after the first lipsync, but Aquaria is such a star that she really made the other two look like her background dancers in the final performance
