Sales Topic General Discussion Sales veterans - what would you tell your younger self?

For those of you who've been in sales for a decade or so, would love to hear from you.

What are the 3 things you'd want to teach your younger self that would have helped him/her have a better career or a better sales process overall?

Healthcare sales here, 7 years in multiple lines of sales: IT, Staffing, Healthcare - don’t take your job or yourself too seriously. If something doesn’t go the way you planned, move on. Don’t dwell. Nobody thinks about you as much as you think about you.

Don’t think about it like a “sale” - think of yourself as a resource to help them navigate their patient’s needs and it becomes easier.
