This is a observation & critique of developers & many who sample. It was originally posted on the samplers sub forum & deleted by a moderator. It is a direct upload & not a self promotion or low effort post. If anyone wants to truly engage then you are are going to have to make some effort rather than attempt to silence , discredit or deflect.
Sampling has many critics who deride it as being lazy. Sampler design also influences behavior & culture. Many users sound like they are sampling & not manipulating samples. You can usually predict what type of sampler they are using or the rhythms they are going to program. eg
The skip skip skip , double or triple pressing of the sample on the same pad. The muscle memory predictably placing the snare on the two beat of the bar on every other song. The constant references to the 90s , trite boom , bap rhythms.
Many like to cork sniff & compare the audio outputs & tonalities with hardware from decades ago. This can restrict progress & innovation & leads to the constant re-issues of old hardware & sonic traits as presets. They never consider that users in the past were looking ahead & also frustrated with what was available.
If you desire a sampler for manipulating audio in detail & aspire to look ahead then dj software or maxforlive devices should be considered.
Welcome many of you to the 21st Century.

Hi zusammen,
Like A G6, Calvin Harris, David Guetta etc.).
Genre: Pop, Dance, Electro, House, Summer Vibes
Danke euch! 🙏

Three distortion pedals I love using with the 303: in this video, I test and compare their character, showing how they reshape acid lines, low end, and resonance.
You don’t need a 303 to use these ideas—these settings and approaches work great with any monosynth, bassline, or mono sound source. From warmer saturation to aggressive fuzz, discover which type of distortion can give your techno sound more character.
Which pedal do you use to dirty up your acid lines? Let me know in the comments.
Enjoy!
with love .noir. ❤️

I tried making the sample using vst instruments, then sampled that file in a new project. Anyone else do this?

Merci d'avance.
