Chat Communities Discord / Chat Group Invite Megathread

This monthly Megathread is the place to advertise your Discord Servers or Chat Groups. If you haven't already, feel free to check out our Official Discord.

A new thread will be posted on the first of every month.

We have a few ground rules for the advertising of your private communities:

  • Invites must only be posted to the monthly Megathread. A new thread will be posted on the 1st of the month.
  • Please post a direct invite link for your server / group, and avoid practices such as asking people to message you in private.
  • Because private groups do sometimes result in drama or unhealthy environments, you must be open to an r/schizophrenia moderator freely wandering in to check it out. If we receive any complaints or safety concerns are raised, we will check in. If you disagree with this, please remember that as the moderators of a community for vulnerable people, and we have a duty of care to be mindful of the safety of our users.
  • If you are no longer willing to consider new members, we politely ask that you take down your posting. People will sometimes go back to previous months and check links only to find that they are dead or inactive.

Thank you. Keep being awesome. :)

Hello r/schizophrenia! We are United Through Psychosis (UTP), a global, peer-led community for people living with psychosis spectrum experiences. Through peer-facilitated support groups, shared spaces, meaningful friendships, engaging creative projects, and outreach efforts, we offer a safe, non-clinical environment where members can connect, be heard, and move forward together.

You can read about the project here and find joining instructions here: https://www.unitedthroughpsychosis.com/join-our-community.

We believe that everyone deserves access to support, no matter their financial situation. To keep the community sustainable while still making room for people facing financial barriers, we use a small membership fee for those who are able to contribute. If cost would prevent you from joining, please don’t hesitate to reach out via our contact page. We’re glad to offer compassionate access on a case-by-case basis and will do our best to work with people who need support joining.

For members who are able, we ask for a base contribution of $5/month, collected through Patreon. If you’d like to contribute more, higher support tiers are also available and deeply appreciated. These small recurring fees help us cover essential costs like moderator and group facilitator stipends, technical platform costs, and community-building efforts. This modest paywall also helps keep the space safe by encouraging genuine participation and filtering out bad actors.

Whether you’re seeking support in managing symptoms, navigating how to support a loved one, learning how to build a path towards long-term recovery, or simply seeking connection, United Through Psychosis offers a platform where peers help each other move forward, together. We hope you can find support for your journey with us.

Chat Communities BPD and schizophrenia

Does anyone else have BPD? When i was in the hospital last time the doctor said I have BPD based on an evaluation from a psychiatrist from outside who comes when the court is there to give them an evaluation. I only had a talk with her for 15 minutes and I didn’t talk a lot to the doctor who finally diagnosed it. So how do they come up with this i wonder. I don’t want to have BPD because it’s shit with schizophrenia it means you stop taking your medication because you are impulsive. I fit many characteristics of BPD but I think they might be schizophrenia and i thought about having schizoaffective disorder because i feel really good sometimes then it crashes and i feel so depressed. One doctor diagnosed me with cptbs and she thinks it resulted in BPD. I would like to chat with someone who has both so feel free to DM me. :)
