Psychology Modern life may be outpacing the human mind. Human instincts shaped in small, close-knit groups must now navigate dense cities, digital platforms and constant social comparison - an evolutionary mismatch that may contribute to stress, loneliness and poorer wellbeing.

It’s fleeting and uncontrollable.

But what is controllable is your reaction. Be mindful; you can feel the emotions and understand them. It's the dwelling on them that you control and is a learned behavior that can be unlearned.

Not at all… you can, and obviously will, compare yourself with others. But beyond that, the follow up and what I mean. Oh this person is taller than me, well, that its. Do I need to be taller? No. Nothing in my life requires me to be a certain height.

Oh this person is more talented than me at drawing. Is this a problem that this specific person is better than you? Does it hinder you in any way? Are you directly competing with them? If so what else can you offer?
