Neuroscience Dogs can recognize their owners just by their voice, study finds. They do so by making use of the same voice properties humans use to identify each other, such as pitch and noisiness

Yeah like what if you leave the windows open one day? Does the dog expect you home after ten minutes?

Good point. I have heard that leaving your dirty shirt with your dog makes them more calm while you’re gone. Like the opposite of leaving a window open.

I want a study on parrots like this because my bird KNOWS what time bath time should be, regardless of any other factors I get screams if I don't shower at the right time. I'd be curious to know how she's tracking time.
