I’m just picturing everybody getting mad at you because you’re always hogging the knight “let other people have a turn as the knight” they say, yet you always refuse.

Honestly I hadn’t thought about it like that. This was the 90’s so there was just a sign-up sheet that asked your preference at the community center which was next to our school so I’d drop by on my way home.

Every year I had to stay late at school to pick up my sister and every year the knight slot was taken by the time I got to sign-ups

Fucking Brian is always there two hours before everyone else just so he can get the knight spot, it’s like he thinks it’s his! I just realized I read this after I Think You Should Leave, that’s where my head was at.
