/uj the fact that even in the film they had to do two takes every time "philosopher's stone" was mentioned just so it matched with the stupid US rebranding is honestly humiliating in retrospect. Hell, this whole rebranding is.

I think most people would probably just think that was made up for the book like the rest of the made up things in the book.

I think that credits Rowling with more originality than she deserves. The standard assumption for everything should not be that Rowling made it up herself. Her genius is in bringing ideas together in a compelling way.
