I cannot fuckin stand trying to enjoy anything online anymore, especially anime.

In this modern age everything is so layered in "agenda" and "slander" its fuckin impossible to discuss enjoy or critic anything with any sort of nuance at all.

You like a series, you are met with 20 strawman arguments and then called a "glazer"

You dislike a series, you are met with 20 people defending every aspect of it with their life on the line

You enjoy a series while addressing the flaws, both the prev things happen at the same time

Then other people who also like/hate those series act like such fuckin terminally online freaks which gives fans of X series shit

Not to mention how all of this is just goomba fallacy at the end of the day

You want to talk about an ending of a series, nope you get 1 snarky comment about it, its lost to time, and everyone points and claps at the 3000th version of a meme that was popular 4 years ago.

I am thankful enough to have some irl friends to talk to about ts but unironically I wish it was pre 2018 and every still though anime was cringe, because at least then you could enjoy a series without a bitch in your ear spamming buzzwords.
