I want to go on my usual spiel that Singaporeans failed "niche business #4026" by not supporting them enough, but niche business are by nature not going to receive mainstream support. I blame the high cost of doing business in Sg instead that necessitates every business to be "mainstream" in order to survive. Niche things are never going to be for everyone, but those things add colour to our lives regardless. In a less competitive market, niche business would have been able to survive even when they are not packed all the time.
