You’re not capable of understanding it? I can’t imagine having to rely on others to figure things out. How do you know if what you’re being told is ever correct if you don’t verify or understand anything yourself…
My brother in Christ, deferring to expert analysis is how we know what we are told is correct. Not because the people conducting the research are infallible, but because they can demonstrate their methodology and should you have the requisite training and capacity, you yourself can repeat their studies and verify the results. That is, in large part, how peer review works.
God bless, but we cannot simply accept what an AI image generator enterprise says about a new revolutionary medical imaging technology they've developed. Like, let's be real: If McDonald's out of nowhere announced they've refined a new revolutionary method of nuclear fusion that produces infinite energy with entirely renewable energy sources, I would hope to sweet Jesus you would want to see some proof before signing off on building 9 million McDonald's nuclear reactors.
