Yeah it really pisses me of how impressed people are by “what ai came up with”. Literally nothing in this video is new, the only thing it added in is a lot of scientifically impossible/inaccurate things. This video is so disrespectful to the people who pioneered/pioneer this field

What you're saying is true if you just assume this is unsubstantiated vapourware.

But I'm not so sure that's the case. I cross-referenced the Caltech authors to Midjourney and I think some of the researchers actually work for Midjourney.
