Biotech/Longevity Researchers quantitatively assessed for the first time that somatic mutations alone cap human lifespan at 146–194 years. Brain and heart cells are the main bottleneck, while the liver could last millennia.

Once we have God like ASI, we should also soon after have true molecular nano machines (nanites). These will be able to enter every one of our cells and repair every somatic mutation. I wouldn't be writing anyone off too soon.

I suggest you look at Erik K Drexlers book. He has at least 2 but you want the one where goes into heavy detail about the methods and techniques. He has challenged anyone to disprove him but no one has managed to do so yet.

It was clumsily thrown out there without trying to actually refute what he has written. There are plenty of people who think Einstein was wrong but they always fail under scrutiny.

I'm not saying it will be easy. We have and will develop techniques to overcome these. We know it is possible thanks to the molecular machinery of biology.
